500+hp Mercedes
Yes, you read that right.
On my way back from Wally World today, I noticed a hood scoop on a Mercedes 450SL Convertible. I though-weird... But a further look led me to the rear tires, which were HUGE!! The rear end was obviously tubbed. I noticed the owner standing by the car, so I stopped in to chat... It was simply an awesome car! Fuel Injected 502 cu. in. Chevy crate motor with over 500 hp!! He said the interior and body, with the exception of the hood scoop, were all original.

Those Germans have gotten heavy into the horsepower wars. Mercedes has quite a few cars with 400+. One guy here in town with an SL 500 has an awesome vanity plate..........493 hp. Gotta love it.
