Thinking about buying a 91 Nissan SE-R

Anybody here owns or have owned an older model Nissan Sentra Se-R? I have a co-worker who is selling his 91 Sentra Se-R. He's asking $2K and It's still in pretty good shape, just a little rust on the passenger door. I haven't driven it but from what I hear it's pretty quick. Stock time, it runs around 15.8.

Any experiences?

They are awesome and hold their value well because of the engine. Make sure it doesn't have a fifth gear pop-out issue. Thats the only problem I'm aware of.

buy it, those se-r's rocked back in the day!! always wanted one!! that gives me an idea!!! don't hesitate!!

Well.. I bought the SE-R about 2 weeks ago. The buddy sold it to me for only $350.00 with a burnt clutch. Finally got the clutch in and took some pictures today.. Take a look... I'm hoping this thing will give the Titan a good run..
