you guys wanna talk about pain, try having surgery for a kidney stone - no cutting but they do it one way IN and one way OUT, if you get my drift.....there is nothing worse than that...especially when they take out the stint they put in for a week. No wonder Vicodin was my best friend at the time

i have had 4 such surgerys for kidney stones and had to have 2 broken up. i also have a bowel disease known as crohns. i have had 3 bowel resections and have 6 inches of large intestine left. also eye surgery and sinus surgery and so far this hurts more than any of it.

My prayers are with you rawze. My mother-in-law goes on spurts of "manufacturing" kidney stones and has had surguries. She has also had her sinuses "roto rootered". My best friend at work just got permanent disability because work stress makes Crohn's disease worse.

Shoot you

Rawze,

Anyone going through that much surgery and pain oughta ask about a recall or a lemon law

Change your diet-stop eating stones.
I recommend smoothies

Rick,

I know it's tough but you can come here anytime you like for sympathy!

Wow, Crohn's, kidney stones and back surgery, now I know why you want someone to shoot you!

Ah, just think about your new cub mower and how you will soon be riding it again, each day should start to hurt a little less and besides, I'm sure you've got your family waiting on you hand and foot.

I'll be thinking of you and praying you get some relief.

Lon

Man I don't want to hear that. I go under the knife June 24.

I broke my leg skiing New Year's Eve. Doc wanted to try and heal it on its own. It didn't.

I'm getting a dead guy's ACL, my menincus tear fixed, and screws I guess.

I saw the MRI and he told me the news. I just said get it scheduled and we'll talk about it later. I don't want to be on crutches again.

I can maybe ski by the end of February if all goes right.

I wouldn't have had a problem with my kidney stone had it actually passed - when they went into take it out, they went in via the only hole they had access to the bladder via (think about it). That wasn't so bad since I was completely out, but when they went back a week later, told me they'd use an anesthetic gel to take out the stint, etc....well lets just say I could have beat the wholy hell out of that doctor for the pain he put me through. Just hope that that was the only kidney stone I'll have to have surgery for.
