117 inch big screen

I have a Hitachi multimedia projector in my living room.
It is mounted on the ceiling above my couch. I have it hooked to my cable box, laptop, and DVD player. All of it is hooked to my surround sound.
I have it set at 117 inches. It takes up my entire wall in the living room.
I payed $1100 for it, and I think it is the greatest thing ever.
When i watch movies on it You actually have to turn your head to see everything.
Does anybody else have one of these?
I have had mine for almost a year and I have enjoyed it alot.
It is smaller than my DVD player and if I wanted to, I can take it off and bring it anywhere with me, IE. camping,or whatever as long as I have a white surface to project it on.
Its kinda like this one http://www.hitachi.us/Apps/hitachico.../DigitalMedia/
Is everybody satisfied with theirs?
Would you rather have bought the big screen TV for 2500 bucks plus?

I don't personally have one but I won't consider buying a big screen tv after watching my buddies setup. His hangs from the ceiling as well and he bought the screen that hangs on the wall. With a good sound system, it's better than being at a movie theater. It really does pay to get a good DVD player as well.

I'm interested in hearing what others have to say.

I have the Infocus X1 with a Bose 5.1 surround in my loft, I also have it wire to my DVD, cable box and laptop. It's the best thing since sliced bread! and projectors are getting more and more cost effective, I paid 799.00 at circuit City.

I've never heard of the Infocus before. Is it pretty good?

I never checked the ratings, but I like it and the quality seems good. I believe projectors are all Infocus make's.

I just purchased my Avia from Amazon's for 37.50. There's also Digital Video Essentials which is much cheaper.

I'm planning on getting the Panny AE700U as well, one of the highest rated projectors in its price class. I love HT stuff as much as I love my Titan, and that's a whole lot!
