New Heavy Duty Vw!!!!

"This picture is real - not doctored in any way - and was taken by a Transportation Supervisor for a company that delivers building materials
for 84 Lumber. When he saw it in the parking lot of a local IHOP, he went to buy a camera to take pictures. The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust.

A woman is either asleep or otherwise out in the front seat passenger side. The driver was jogging up and down on Rt. 925.(in the background)

Witnesses said their physical/mental state was OTHER than normal. The driver finally came back after the police were called, and was found crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed.

The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they made the customer sign a waiver. While the plywood and 2X4s are fairly obvious, what you can t see is the back seat, which contains -- are you ready for this? -- 10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each. They estimated the total load weight at 3000 lbs.

Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the back struts were driven through the strut towers. The car, with Florida plates (naturally), was headed for Clanton, Al. where the couple planned to build a new house."

What I want to know is; where was the kitchen sink!

Just think what he could have done with a Titan.

Wonder how much damage the Titan would have sustained under similar abusive circumstances!

Sorry to say though, but it is a Photo shopped picture. Look at it closely and you'll see.

I see those things zipping around that look lowered as much as that one. I wonder if the guy really has hydrolics and someone just shopped the plywood on top. I doesn't look like the roof is caved in, so it's got to be shopped......still funny as hell though!

I think it is a photochop simply because that rope wouldnot be even close to strong enough to hold all that wood like that. good job though.

Maybe, but it looks to me like the roof caved in in the rear. I've seen this sort of thing occur over and over and over at Home Depot and Lowes. You just can't believe how stupid some people can get. They think that if they just go "slow" they can get that load home on the roof of their car. The stores have quit helping people tie the loads on due to law suits for this very thing. I have no trouble believing that some do it yourselfer would load up a small car like the one in the picture!

If it is photo-choped, somebody went through a lot of trouble doing multiple pics.

But at least they used a drop cloth on the roof so as not to scuff the paint.
