Who else is working on the Fourth, when you're in the military, anything goes. So, who else is working today?

I'll see what I can do. This year I got stuff I thought the kids would enjoy, like sparklers, smoke bombs, the pull string fire crackers, and those little "cherry bombs" that you throw against the sidewalk. We were getting ready to shoot off some Roman candles and some rockets when a thunder storm rolled in.

We'll shoot off what's left tomorrow night if it doesn't clear up soon.

My wife Healthcare as well, she's an RN. I did mow the lawn, really dast, so it felt like work.

And thanks for those in miltary and public service; no matter how often you hear that it isn't enough to match what you do.
