Got this in an e-mail and wanted to share it. I typed in my zip code to find out 3 sexual predators reside in my area. It does not work in every state but in light of all the televised assaults especially on children, its good to be informed! http://www.criminalcheck.com/

I typed in my zip code. Found 5 offenders in my immediate area. Pretty scary. I have a 5 month old and a 3 1/2 yr old. I can't believe that many sick people live that close.

A few pop up in my area, what's scary is there's one only a couple of street from a City Park/Little league complex.

I have one about a 1/2 mile from my house. The scary thing is he has had his house shot at 2 times in the last six months. His conviction was in 1984, for a low level crime.

Whoa!!!! I just found 59 in my area and this is a small a## city I live in. I will definitely be on alert and looking for anything suspicious. Thanks for the info.

Hey Devilpuppy, if you check out the VA State Police site, most of these folks have photos as well. It doesn't have as much detail on the convictions though. Personally, I think after the conviction, there shouldn't be a list of names, just their obituaries.

About a dozen in our area, just reinforces my desire to get out of the burbs, into the country. I know, short term answer, but what are ya gonna do?
