If I remember correctly, squid took over the top poster spot from bestatchess, who is now a moderator. But I wouldn't call Best a whore as he's contributed tons of useful info to the site. Squid did too if you would filter through all the other stuff.

Edit: Bestatchess currently has 3,358 posts. Just looked it up.

All I am saying is that there is a huge difference between simply posting to make yourself heard over the crowd and posting valuable and relevant information that benefits the members of the forum.

Ha. I had a feeling someone may eventually point that out. He got you on that one, Roy. And for the record, I DO NOT think that bestatchess is a loser. In fact, I think that he is an upstanding member/moderator here. Definitely one of the best in my opinion.

I guess I'm not sure where that came from, bestatchess has a higher post count than most, but his post are not a bunch of garbage like the burger hunters. I personally don't see a need for post counts to show up, that would stop all the useless threads such as this one.

Ah c'mon TYTAIN. Do you truly believe that a little flavor around a forum is a bad thing? I don't think that bowhunter was attacking anyone. bestatchess's posts are always valuable. No one is disputing that, but it is also nice to have those that sit on the other side of the fence who also have something to add. Without them, things become stale and stagnant. bestatchess is like a T-Bone steak and the others are the A-1. The two together are much better than either one alone.
