10,000 members?

How about a poll or contest on when the 10,000th member will register at this site? Maybe set up a few rules as to the date of registering and the first post selecting that date wins. Maybe talk to some of the sponsers and see if they would contribute a gift of some kind to the winner. Also, maybe a gift pkg for the person who becomes the 10,000th member?

The last two milestones, 6,000th and 7000th members, passed uneventfully. Those two members hardly every post.

It probably wouldn't work to have a prize for the 10,000th member because folks would have their friends sign up just so they would get the prize rather than a legitimate new member winning it.

You do have a good idea about doing something however.
