If it hit $5 a gallon, I would be in serious trouble. I don't make alot of money but my dream was to own a full size truck. $5 a gallon would KILL ME money wise... I am almost crying writing this and thinking what it would do to me

Well, look at it this way, why ruin your day today worrying about it when you can't do anything about it now.

We will all have to deal with it if/when it happens.

"Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"

-Matthew 6-27

This might be a real good time to read the Bible and pray for those who have more to worry about then the price of gas.

"God bless us everyone!"

Can I interest you in a motorcylce or a scooter? They routinely get 40-50MPG, and will fit nicely in the back of that full sized truck.

I heard that on the radio this morning as I passed my local gas station, in which prices have gone back down to 2.65. I was feeling pretty good looking over at the gas station, seeing the price, until I heard the news person say, Gas could hit $5.00 a gallon!

I wonder if at that point our government would step in...

congress is working on a law that would prevent gasoline retailers from making more than 15% profit. this would "eliminate" price gouging during national emergencies.

"What goes up must come down" comes to mind. The spike shouldn't last too long. Just park the Titan for a week and use public transportation or borrow the girlfriend or wife's gas-saver. You could always carpool with a co-worker that has a gas saver and throw him/her a few bucks for gas. Just a thought.
