My Dad said the last one, bought a pair of clippers and I had a "buzz cut" until my Mom put her foot down! LMFAO now!
Man, those were some bad haircuts back then, hurt too. Don't think the money he "saved" even paid for the cost of the clippers.

If the all the Chinese had canoes and attacked the US, what would we do?
- That's a theory a friend of mine has.
- Think about it. There are some many of them, what would we do?

Gas was 12 cents in 1955.
A Chevy Bel Aire was $1888, Ford Fairlane was $2150 and did 0-60 in 13 seconds.
Even after the Bush Tax cuts, the average American still pays more in taxes as a % of income than they did during the height of World War 2. Under Clinton, it was at an all time high. Federal Income tax first started at the turn of the century.

When I was little (in the '70's) I had a paper route, bought my own clothes for school, bikes, etc. I built model cars. I remember paying a dime for those little bottles of paint. I complained when it went to 15 cents. At 19 cents, I started fading out. When it went to 25 cents a bottle, I said, "I can't afford this hobby anymore!" and hung it up. Now, I see they're $2.19 each @ Wal*Mart!
I thought I read somewhere once that everything EAST of the San Andreas fault will eventually fall into the Atlantic Ocean....
