Do any women still cook?

I been in the dating scene for awhile and haven't met a chick who cooks or even if they do they still rather have you cook. Hate to be streotypical but women who cook are hard to find. Sure other virtues are important but it's nice to get a home cooked meal once in awhile. Anyone else feel the same?

Does your women cook? yes or no?

You need to spend some time on a forum where the women are. Go here to find a date that can cook. There is even a thread on this forum where women who can cook are looking for men.

Also, make sure to keep the woman away from books or T.V.

Re: Do any women still cook?

When I married my wife she was an excellent cook. (She sure didn't get it from her Mother!) Now, over 46 years later she is still an excellent cook, and enjoys coming up with new ideas. Guess that is why I weighed about 160 pounds when I married her, and weigh 260 now!

I'm the cook. Its called a Chef. She can and sometimes cooks, but I'm much better and she cleans up after, which I hate. Good division of labor. If she was a stay at home housewife, maybe I'd ask for meals to be made. But since we're DINKs, its only fair to split the labor. I cook, fix stuff, take care of the cars. She cleans and cleans up.

Re: Do any women still cook?

There has been a radical decline in cooking skills in my family:

Great grandmother - everything from scratch, off the ranch, caught in local streams or out of the garden - out of this world. The only store bought stuff was flour, salt, sugar & maybe a few other things. All fruit, vegetables, pickles, wine was home made, grown, frozen, canned.

Grandmother - mostly from scratch - very very good - a few store bought short cuts.

Mom - mostly grocery store stuff, still alot of baking & recipes.

Sister - can't cook at all. She married a chef.

Wife - makes reservations & buys take-out stuff. If I want something, I cook.

Re: Do any women still cook?

Not only does my wife cook, but she is the best cook I've ever known. My sis makes better deserts, but my wife just has a way with the way she puts a meal together. Even a simple sandwich tastes better when she's the one making it. The kitchen is always a disaster when she's done working on one of her masterpieces, but cleaning up after her is the least I can do to show my appreciation.
Oh yeah, she's been feeding me for 26 years, and I aint gettin any skinnier.
