We Bought My Titan a Playmate

We just purchased 2006 Nissan Pathfinder in place of my wife's old grocery getter she had. So far we love it. It really has a lot of power compared to the Toyota 4Runner we also test drove. My wife had it in her head to get the Toyota, but after the salesman just about insulted us and pissed us both off, we were heading back home when I finally convinced her to go look at the Pathfinders. She just fell in love with it. And the price of the Pathfinder is a whole lot more reasonable than that of the 4Runner. Toyota is really proud of their stuff aren't they?

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any idea on how to remove the center dash console where the radio and AC controls are so that I can run the power wire for her SkyFi directly to the feed for the 12V outlets. I know on the Titan, we just pulled on it and out it came, but I hated to do that and find out the hard way that was a no-no.

If anyone can give me any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

www.clubarmada.com has a pathfinder area. Try them.

Does it have a fuse box in the cab like the Titan? If so, you could tap at the fuse box with a RS fuse tap or a Littlefuse Add-A-Circuit and not have to splice any wires or pull off any dash plastic.

Man I wish I could get Mrs.Rico387 fired up about the new Pathfinder. I drove one while waiting for lube on the Titan. What a sweet little ride!
