PLEASE NOTE
Formula 1 has exercised its option to put four races on broadcast television in 2006. The San Marino, Spanish, Monaco and British Grands Prix will be shown on a broadcast network prior to SPEED's delayed telecasts.
The Belgian Grand Prix weekend, September 15 – 17, has been canceled due to ongoing track improvement work.
All F1 events will be blacked out in Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Replays of all F1 qualifying and races on Speed will be shown as scheduled in all countries (including Canada) with NO blackout restrictions."
So, it looks like the races can be seen on Speed TV.

Davidson set the pace in the second practice....the renaults were on pace, mclarens didnt look good (montoya may have to change engine and kimi broke down, but they might not need to replace engine)....
suprise was liuzzi in 6th....
heres a link to the practice times http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/060310/23/hsny.html ....i dont like the sound of the v8s....the scream from those v10s was so impressive.....oh well, at least F1 is back!!!

Thanks for the update and the link johnny!! I too, am going to miss those V10s - wish the FIA would have a laissez faire policy and let the mfrs run amock with technology. Good luck this weekend. The Commish.

I watched the race this morning. I was a huge F1 fan in the 90s, but I loved the technology... The telemetry, witches brew fuels, huge slicks. The year Senna and Ratzenberger got killed were probably the peak of my love of F1. I've kind of been a passive fan since. I'd watch if I happenend to catch it, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.
Seems like the changes are finally paying off. It was a very exciting race, the part where Shumacher and Alonso ran together with Alonso coming out of the pit was just incredible. I'm not going to get back into watching practices at this point, but I'll definitely be tuning in for the races again.
Formula 1 - 2nd race of '06 season - The Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix....
Qualifying: Midnight (Central Time) Saturday 18 March 2006
Race: 1 A.M. (Central Time) Sunday 19 March 2006
Track: Sepang International Circuit @ Kuala Lumpur:
56 Laps
Lap distance: 5.543km
Race distance: 310.408km
Track record: J.P. Montoya 1'34.223 (2004)
Designed by Hermann Tilke, Sepang is one of the most technical circuits in Formula One. The combination of long high-speed straights, and tight twisting complexes make the track very complicated, but also perfect for overtaking as the track itself is very wide. The drivers love it and, along with Malaysia's distinct atmosphere, it makes for an experience unique in Formula One.
The Commish.
