worst place ever to put tools!!!

So, I get a call yesterday about 5:00 pm from my mother-in-law as I'm leaving work and she tells me my 3 yr old son has swallowed a socket! So I burn up like half a tank of gas speeding to him and take him to the ER and after about 8 hours and some screaming due to the IV he had to get so they could put him to sleep we get to go home with these interesting pics and a quarter in drive 8mm socket. Thankfully, he is ok and now he says he won't put anything else in his mouth.

Re: worst place ever to put tools!!!

Holy sh*t! good to here he's OK though, About 15 mins ago I was in the bed of my truck unloading some stuff and my 2 year old son rolled his finger up in the window, I might have to take him in to see a Doc cause a couple of his fingers look broken. You can't leave these lil guys alone for a second. Hopefully he learned a lesson, I know I did.

Glad to hear he's okay.

I recommend switching him over to plastic soldiers and work his way up to sockets. Soldiers dissolve faster.

Wow that's amazing. Make sure you keep the socket for him so when he turns 18 you can tease the crap out of him and show him the pictures and what he swallowed.

Glad he's OK

hopefully he learned his lesson, but if not, the next time he swallows something he will be getting two things remove, the object and my foot for giving his old man gray hair and a heart attack lol
