Metal cutting bits and products...

Anyone know of any brand or type of metal cutting tool/products like hole saws? Where and what brand should I get thats made of good quality but wont break the bank either??

Also, some good metal drill bits...some that wont crack so quickly or go dull...what type of material is best? Is the "titanium" stuff really the best and is it really worth all the money? or is it better to buy a few cheap sets and when one breaks just use another instead of buying one "titanium" bit??

Ive done a lot of wood work in my time but when it comes to metal working Im pretty new to it and need some info on some good stuff...

Right up my alley i have been a machinist for 11 years. Anything from Starret is worth the money and as far as bits high speed steal is good for all around and carbide is best.
