May be gettng a 2007 SUBURBAN

So my wife and I might be TRADING IN the TITAN for a NEW 2007 SUBURBAN.
(OUCH) just typing that hurt me. I cant even stand the thought of getting rid of the TITAN, but finances will not permit us to have both

The reason for this is because we just found out that we are having another baby (YAY) and we both like the idea of having the car seats in the middle of the vehicle ... and we just cant do that with the titan. And while I would rather get the ARMADA . my wife and I are pretty much sold on the ONSTAR SERVICES.... plus we like the side curtain airbags ... but the ONSTAR and being able to put the car seats in the middle of each row are the main selling points for us.

on the plus side of things .. if I decide to sell it my self KBB says its worth about 21500 and my payoff is sitting at 21459 ... so not to bad there.. and retail value was around 24000 ......trade in value of my truck is at 18500 ... but there is an incentive from GM where if you trade in a 04 or higher vehicle they will put 1500 towards your new vehicle purchase .. so even if I decided to trade in and not hassle with selling my truck I wouldn’t be that upside-down in my trade in...... (the titan is our only vehicle)

oh yeah also my wife gets a GM discount because she works for SBC/ATT

So my fellow TITAN owners hope yall wont mind me still hanging around here and maybe even going to some of the meets..... I love my truck and this forum... they are both great ......

hey has anyone heard any good or bad things about the new burbans or know of any good SUBURBAN forums to go to.

OnStar allows the Government to monitor not only your every move but also the coversations that are carried out inside the vehicle.....they will have the capability to turn your vehicle off at their discression with them spy spaceships floating around up there.....I can't beleive anyone would fall for that "Big Brother Scam" being shoved down our throats in the name of "safety".....don't be a sheep lead off the cliff.

i dont know, all in all i like the idea of onstar .. with or with out BIG BROTHER watching me...

My Titan came equiped with something very much like the Onstar..........A FREAKIN' CELL PHONE!!!!!! Check into them, they're pretty cool.

I may be looking into a chevy myself soon. My confidence in Nissan vehicles is shacken big time and I WAS a loyalist too sucks big time. Anyway good luck with the burb the 07's look cool.

You can put the car seats in the middle of the Titan.

to a diesel. The Ford dealership offered me $2,000 less than KBB trade. I took the truck to Carmax thinking the dealership was way off base. The offered me about $1,900 less than KBB trade. They both told me that the best you can get in the Houston area right now on a "gas guzzler" for trade is loan value. I even tried 20 days on ebay for less than KBB retail and no takers. I did have to mention to the dealership that my "gas guzzler" was no worse that their Expeditions (bet they don't mention that word when they are selling those).

Why can't you put carseats in the center of an armada? Just remember when you want to trade in the suburban expect about 6000 for it , that what they sell for at auctions and dealers wont pay more then auction price. My best friends 06 armada came standard with side impact air bags. Keep looking don't buy a chevy. If you only have one car, what are you going to drive when it breaks down? They have onstar because they know it's going to break. Invest in AAA roadside and a cell phone.

Import, good luck with the new chevy, my buddy is getting ready to buy an 07 Tahoe, I saw an 07 Denali last night at Micky D's and it was very sharp. The Burbans look really long but, they are very sweet looking. and I tried PMing you back about the avatar but I think your inbox is full. The guy getting slammed was not hurt at all, He actually won the fight by submission(kimura).

okay try calling for some emergency sevice when your cell is all damaged and or your knocked out from the accident.. onstar will automaticaly send out EMS to your location on impact
