Irwindale Drag Strip...Is is a good raceway?

I just raced my first time at LACR(Los Angeles County Raceway) and now I'm addicted to drag racing. But I'm just wondering if anyone has been down to the strip at Irvine. Is it a 1/4 mile or 1/8. I went on the site and checked it out but I wanna know anyone that has actually raced or been to the strip. Give me a heads up! Thanks!

irwindale is great! go on thursday... its a 1/8 track and everynight at closing you can enter a burnout contest and winner gets $200!!! couple titans race there from time to time

I'm going to have to make time to go to Irwindale. maybe tonight, if I finish work early.

That would be pretty cool. Its open from 4 to 10pm. Hope I get to do better this time......

...my preformance at LACR was a humbling experience.
