Can you imagine putting a 5.6 motor into a Frontier?

If and when gas prices stabilize, imagine Nissan offering the 5.6 as an option for the Frontier. It would be an awesome contender to almost anyting out there and still get 14-19 mpg. Here are the stock times, per Edmunds, on the Frontier:
0 - 30 (sec): 3.4
0 - 45 (sec): N/A
0 - 60 (sec): 8.3
0 - 75 (sec): N/A
1/4 Mile (sec @ mph): 16.22@85.85

Could probably take 2 seconds off the 1/4.

The weight of the Fronty with the torque of the 5.6, that would be pretty insane.

Re: Can you imagine putting a 5.6 motor into a Frontier?

I have recently seen 2 engines for sale on ebay lately. And also saw a ECU from a 2004 for sale on there. I would love to see someone do this. Supposed to the same frame. Just beef up the front end!
