Help!!! Best sites for Autos

Anyone have suggestions on how to buy a vehicle on the internet, sites, etc?



We are trading in an '04 Sante Fe' (My Wife's) for a Subaru Outback Sedan. I walked out on the local dealer today. Everything looked good until it came to trade-in value. It has only 15,000 miles and I was quoted 3,000 dollars less than KBB and Nada.



I'm not in a hurry here, I just need their numbers to match mine. I'm willing to wait it out for sure.

I've always had the best luck using one dealer against the other. Go and get the deal in writing from one then take that to another local dealer. They will fight for the business. The trick that the dealers use now is "what they could buy the used car at the auto auctions". Now a days its not very often that they will give you the "book" values. It sucks but thats what they do. Your best bet is to sell it on your own if you want to make the most on it. It just depends on how much you want to deal with trying to sell it on your own. I would try a couple dealership tho.

We are still shopping. Hopefully will go with an Accord. I'm rooting for the 4 cylinder. Mrs Chief likes the V6. The 4 feels quicker, handles more nimbly, gets a lot better gas mileage, and lists for 2300 less. In the end it's up to her on this one. I guess a V6 Accord is a lot better than an outback overall. Still deciding on what vehicle before I really start crunching numbers.
