New Planets?

Thought I'd find out if any of you guys are into astronomy in any way. This was really pegging the news today:

http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/space/0....ap/index.html

My opinion is that Pluto isn't a planet, and never should have been named one. Round and 800km in diameter for the new criteria? Seems just rather arbitrary. Small enough to keep Pluto as a planet, but in the process Pick up Ceres too which is just weird.

Pluto is as much a planet as the ring of space debrie circling the sun between earth and Mars (you know - all that stuff that used to be parts of the planet humans lived on until our for fathers blew it up by accident 50,000 years ago - forcing survivors to move here and displace the native flora and fauna - and turning this rock into a cesspool. No wonder all other intellegent life in our galaxy keeps a polite distance. LOL.

Re: New Planets?

Fritz

Have you ever wondered where that great big rock that hit what is now known as the gulf of mexico came from? Tough to live on a place full of meat eating dinos - but they sure do make nice fuel for our Titans. There is a plan - just not sure of all the details. Working on it though!

LOL!! I was just saying that the other day,. If man came along earlier, what would we run our trucks on. No oil or coal, and our poor women wouldn't have diamonds.

And we would not be able to get to work and buy them those diamonds - and we would not get any **** , and the human race would be extinct. Now you are thinking Fritz - my hats off to you brother!

Probably both a movie and a few bad jokes out of this one - but let's try not to take yet another thread straight down the drain. Even though I lack the resources to produce the movie - I can think of a few bad jokes - so rather than tempt the fates (and the moderators) I will not go there - So - Time for bed!

Re: New Planets?

Back in the day we didn't need gas or diamonds. You just clubbed the beotch over the head and drug her back to your cave. Not to be confused with what adavis does. Drug them at the club and drag them back to his appartment.

I like that picture of your woman you have in your avatar...much prettier than I would of that a guy like you could get.
