I know this might not be a popular thread, but as a vet I find this to be the same as treason. He goes over there for the discovery channel and is suddenly an expert.

The motorcycle maker visited American soldiers outside Baghdad, Iraq - and is convinced the majority of the US military agree with him. James says, "Everyone in Iraq knows Bush is a d**khead. He's the boss' kid. "Everybody I know who has a successful business who has a kid - the kid is always a f**khead. Have you ever noticed that?"

I don't like Jesse James, but I agree with his assesment. I've voted republican for years, but no longer. And not allowing freedom of speach or opinions is the biggest violation of the constitution that one could impose. I think Bush should be tried on war crimes. Am I treasonous? The Iraqi was was the biggest travesty our government could have commited. Let the fighting begin.

You think Jesse's an AZZHAT, and he thinks POTUS is a "d!*ckhead". They're both the opinions of an individual. Both those individuals have the right to express them. Jesse's just more visible when he states his, but I don't see the difference otherwise.

Jesse is just one man expressing his opinion. The majority of americans at one time or another have said Bush is a d!ckhead, myself included. Does that make him a d!ckhead? No.

Personally, I respect Jesse James for his knowledge and his taste in women. But it's just one man'ss opinion.

Why not. You are an American citizen, aren't you, you have a mind of your own right. If you are in the services and Bush tells you to run into a firestorm, yes you have to do it, but that doesn't mean he's right or has anyone but his own best intrests in mind. You have the right to think he's a moron, you just till have to do what he says.

And anyone see a backdoor draft with all the retired troops and those that have left after completing thier contracts being recalled for further duty.

Not according to the articles of engagement I have read. Right now there is a guy fighting that exact thing in court - he is being courts martialed for refusing an order he felt was unjust. I don't have all the details, but I do know that a soldier does have the right to refuse an order he feels is wrong. It doesn't happen to often though.

good luck recalling my fat broken ***. 2 knee surgeries post Marine Corps and I have eh, added some stature to my frame (about 30lbs of it).

The story that I read said they were just recalling service members who were in the IRR, the Inactive Ready Reserve. Thats nothing out of the ordinary and when you sign your initial enlistment you are (or should be) made aware of how that works. Your enlistment is for 8 years. Most are 4 years active 4 years IRR. Some are 5 and 3, it all depends on how your contract is written up.

Even still, my IRR service ended in 2004, so I'm not going anywhere. I also dont think they can recall Disabled Veterans which I am.

I'm more interested in my dog's opinion about foreign policy than I am in what Jesse James has to say...I'm pretty sure my dog has the higher IQ than Jesse James anyway.
