Trick or treat

Allright folks. Halloween is coming.
In the old days, kids came to the door for tricks and treats. These days, it is all treats and that just ain't right.

Here's how you trick 'em.

Get a whole bunch of those online services CD's like AOL, earthlink, netzero, etc. that give you 100 free hours if you sign up. Put them in the bowl with the candy. When the kids come, ask them clearly if they want a trick or a treat. If they say trick, and they will, give them an AOL cd.

Embellish the gift giving. Talk a lot. Fling the BS heavily, they eat it up. Flash the package, ask who wants a trick. Tell them it's a playstation demo game or something like that. Maybe tell them it's a Tony Hawk video or for the older kids it's an advanced screening of Jacka$$. They will be jumping up and down screaming for the trick. Works every time. Even some of the parents think it's funny.

If you were really a nice person, you could probably locate a Nissan Titan CD somewhere and give them that. This year, I have some CD's for the new Ford trucks that I'm going to give out as well. That's a mean trick 'eh?.

The day after halloween, you can pick up the discarded CD's out of your planters and such. There won't be that many. But it's worth it to trick a kid on halloween.

That would be pretty funny to pull off on the kids! Let's see, some of my wife's old work out dvd's are just lying around...

Re: Trick or treat

Good trick Put on a hocky mask - Dress in bloody rags and jump off the roof in front of the kids with a running chain saw (chain removed for safety of course). Don't do it if there are little ones in the group! Really makes the late teens pee on your sidewalk - they should be getting jobs and buying their own candy by 18 -19 anyway!!

Re: Trick or treat

If you really want to play a trick, do it at the supermarket the day before halloween.
Find an older clerk (the younger ones are clueless), and go up to the checkout with 2 items. A bag of apples and a box of pins. See if they catch on...

Re: Trick or treat

I have an anvil rigged to a pulley system over my doorstep. My wife hauls off the dead ones while I keep the anvil going.

This happened to me when I was about 10. I still to this day remember it like it happened yesterday. I didn't go back to that guys house for the rest of my trick-or-treating days!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen the video, but I'd like to.

Does anyone have a link?
