well I kept on changing my mind on a few cars and spent weeks searching for cars like crazy and I happen to one that I really like.
It's a 1985 Corolla GTS but has a gang of mods. pretty clean car. I think ready for show. I had an 86 but sold it in 2 weeks cause it was a POS after the fact. It did help me look for problems on the other one and give me a basis to compare.

don't know what to say....
sorry.
that's just not my cup of tea..............
you know back when they were new, i thought they were really fugly. Still do when stock but these cars have an almost 50/50 weight balance and are light so it's considered a top handler out there even in stock form.
do you have a lot of experience on road courses under your belt? I want to build some sort of RWD for road courses when school's out, maybe an FC or something.
i have NO experience. just a car lover. never been out there either so I think it'd be fun.
an FC would be a fun car to have. gotta love the rotaries.

Nice ride man. I was wondering what you were gonna buy next... Thought it was gonna be something old school though??? Your new ride is perfect though. The only thing I would change is the header. Pace setter headers don't last very long.
How come every time I turn around you have a new toy? Must be nice to have a disposable income... oh wait, I do too....

i wanted a 73 corolla and i missed that deal. then i found a turboed one in san jose but he was playing a bidder's war so I didn't participate. I was about to buy a 74 bmw 2002 w a nice set up but he was in Lake Havasu so I wasn't sure if I wanted to go that way.
I ended up stumbling on this one while surfing the boards for an old school ride and it was a good deal. Funny thing he moved to Irvine literally right next to the building where I work. So that was cool. I got a lot of oem parts too. Just needs a few little things.I'm getting alignment this afternoon.
Got a car cover on order from costco on it's way. need a passenger seat. just little things.
btw not a lot of disposable income. just blew too much on the truck and the house. this is just a little bday present to myself. I had to dump the s2000 for the house mods so I needed some toy...
