Air Compressor Auto Oiler

Here’s a question I couldn’t find an answer to in past posts. The lovely Mrs. Quartz gave me a combination air filter, regulator, and automatic oiler for Christmas. In the past I have just put a few drops of air tool oil in each tool before using them, but this seems much more convenient. I know that I shouldn’t use this regulator or the air line that now has oil in it with a paint gun because it will contaminate the paint. However, I’m not sure about using the regulator and air line for airing the tires. Will the air from the regulator and air line cause problems with the inside of my tires, the rims, or the pressure sensors?

Re: Air Compressor Auto Oiler

For what it's worth I put a T fitting in my compressor line up stream from the auto oiler unit for (clean - non oiled air). I bought an extra 50 foot hose from Harbor Freight salvage and use it for tires, painting, anything I don't want oil into and leave it pluged in all the time. Extra hose was $9.95 and the T fitting was a dollar something from home depot.
