Re: Lets See Your X-mod

wow...
These Xmod things are sweet. I know absolutely nothing about modding...or even the Xmod trucks themselves, but I want one, dammit. Two questions: where do I get a stock looking red truck like this CVTITAN's or this:? I don't like the one pictured on radioshack's site with the billet grille, hood scoops, and nonchrome rear bumper. Also, where do I learn about all the mods (especially the light one for the headlights)?

You can get the stock one from RadioShack. They come like a regular looking Titan. You can get the Command Logic Lights at Radiosahck.

Re: Lets See Your X-mod

Thanks, jeff and yellow mantis. I didn't really care for the modded truck that radioshack had a picture of. I'm glad you can get one stock as I'd like to have a truck as close to mine as possible. Now, if only they could come out with more stuff for their bigger versions....

Re: Lets See Your X-mod

Was looking at them on eBay. But $30 plus shipping. That's about what the entire truck cost! Kinda nuts without decent billet lift components......

Re: Lets See Your X-mod

Kinda off-topic, but how long did it take to receive your package from Dinball?

Re: Lets See Your X-mod

Here's mine, EVO Nissan Titan and a Gen 1 Nissan Skyline GTR. I REALLY wish I had the real version of my black GTR, it's the only real ricer I actually like. I haven't done much to the Skyline, just a carbon fiber-looking hood swap, ground effects, lights, steel bearings and custom wheels. The Titan has the EVO Stage 2 motor, 8-25 gearing, all wheel drive, steel bearings, off-road lift upgrade, yellow rear springs, blue front springs, fender flares, dual cowl hood, headlights and auxillary lights in the light bar. Had to buy the body kit for the F150 to get the light bar, but it was on clearance for 5 bucks.

NEW......Have since added AWD and 2x2 FET stacks to the Skyline. The Titan also now has some trail and street installed body mods, ie a bunch of dings and scratches

NEWER...Added lithium cells to power the Skyline. See link in previous window. And since I had the car disassembled, I beefed up the driveline with aluminum axles

Re: Lets See Your X-mod

That's swe-e-e-e-e-e-et, Rusty! Those lights on the bar light up, I see. Nice truck! Oh, and on the real Skyline GTR. It's a beast of a car! Now you have to start replacing the undercarriage with billet! And don't tell me you don't want an $800 X-mod! You know you do!!!

Re: Lets See Your X-mod

That's pretty cool. I wish they had a stubby one that would make the antenna seem to disappear altogether....

there is a way, but its a secret...j/k

all you need is a 1"x4" strip of clear thin lexan from a rc car body trimmings. get a piece of wire and wrap it around the lexan. secure the lexan under the body and youre good. see pic. rather crude, but you get the point.
