New House!

The wife and I purchased our first new home this weekend and are looking forward to moving back to a part of the country that's warm!

It's really amazing how many homes look great on the outside but look like crap on the inside.

Re: New House!

Congrats. That's a helluva nice sized home for a starter. It looks to be somewhere between 2400 and 2800 sf.

Re: New House!

The real question is:
Will the Titan fit in the garage?

Re: New House!

Congratulations! I really like the Brick & Stone combination. Less to paint=lower maintenance. Good choice!

3400 sq.ft. 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor; 2+ bathrooms on the 1st flloor, covered back patio with motion lights and two ceiling fans. 3 car garage, negotiated a storm shelter built inside the 3rd garage to seat 10 people, as we will be in tornado country. Also had them fence the back yard and switch stoves out. The upstairs area is huge with a full closet and full bath. It will be used as a guest/play room depending on the situation. The house also has a chefs kitchen, stainless steel appliances, underground sprinkler system and an intercom. It also happens to be in a great school district for the little ones and is the main reason for living in this particular area.

The Titan should fit if my measurements are accurate.

We're stoked and really like the place for the most part. My only complaint is that the living room has HUGE windows.

Wow that sounds great. I know your family will enjoy living there. Its not scary to live in tornado country?

It is but waking up to -7 all month is a hell of a lot worse IMO. Plus, I can see my family anytime that I want instead of driving 12-15 hours to see them.
