Car and Driver says Titan beat the Tundra..

The latest issue of Car and Driver has a test of the big 5 pickups. They finished as follows:
1. Silverado
2. Titan
3. Tundra
4. Dodge Ram
5. Ford F150

I thought that was quite interesting. If they would only figure in quality and longevity (esp trannys) I bet it would be a little different....

Remind me that renewing my subscription to C/D might be OK after all. Nice to see the Titan getting a little respect.

Amazing how little difference there is in the fuel economy of the whole pack.

And I get all that, but I thought that at least one of that pack had four of it's cylinders disabled at highway speeds?

That is a Dodge feature but it doesn't help that gas guzzler much.

Re: Car and Driver says Titan beat the Tundra..

I think they should make these big trucks only disable two cylinders not four, Very hard for big trucks to run on four cylinders but six cylinders shouldn't be a problem.
