Yeah, Tombstone is an awesome movie. Its free right now on Encore HD on demand if you have Comcast cable. Just wanted to remind everyone how awesome this movie is.

Hands down, one of my favorite westerns of all time. I'm not a huge Val Kilmer fan, but he plays an awesome Doc Holiday. Throw in stellar performances from Sam Elliot, Powers Boothe, Micheal Bean and Dana Delany. Just awesome. I don't have encore, but I'm thinking of throwing in the DVD anyway. The other great modern day western, Unforgiven.

If you have Comcast, is your VOD working. Mine has been out at least two days. They claim to be having a "network issue" with VOD.

Yeah my VOD has been messing up too. This cable is so testy, I should document all the time its out or not working properly so I can get reimbursed for those days.
Doc Holiday is a great character. Who was the actor that played him in "Wyatt Earp" with Costner?

Yeah - great movie. I also loved the one with Danny Glover, Brian Dennehy, Kevin Costner, John Cleese, etc. (can't remember the name for the life of me).
Especially when Brian Dennehy tells Danny Glover, "We're gonna give ya a fair trial followed by a first class hangin."

Great western it plays on my cable network at least once a week late at night
its great because the whole family is asleep and I get no interruptions. Val Kilmer steals the movie hands down I like a couple of lines he has such as " your a daisy if you do " and when he fights ringo he says with a ciggie in his mouth real coll " say when " then he draws his gun and shoots ringo in the head. One of my favorites of all time western! I have a question if anybody can answer for me? Why is Doc Holiday called " Longer" throughout the movie by the cowboys.

not "longer" .. they call him "LUNGER" .. for his coughin' bouts .. apparently he was suffering from Tuburculosis (sp) .. kinda deteriorates your breathing passages, bronchioles.. lung tissue .. get so bad that you end up bleeding internally in your lungs as well as fluid build up .. sucky way to die.. but, yeah he did steal just 'bout ever scene they had ..
