Bitmap-JPG

How do I convert a Bitmap Image to a JPG File? I have tons of pics I would like to post, only problem is that I can't convert them.

If you open it with MS paint, you can choose to save it as anything you want. Try it.

Once I go into paint, what do I do then?
Go into File, Edit? I can't seem to find anything that indicates how to switch...Thanks

On, a further note, you can convert any pic to a different format through MS paint. If you want details, I will supply them.

Goto file save as, and there will be a title for the file, under that will be a drop down box, to change it's format.

Go to file, click save as, then in the lower drop down box choose JPG.

Yup gotta love computers :-)

If you want a decent picture editing software that is free you can look at something called - Gimp.

Ill use paint for some small stuff here and there - changing the size (Ctrl W) or small modifications but for everything else I use Gimp or Picasa. Both Free :-)

MS Paint, I can remember as a kid thinking how awesome that program was!!! It's good for doing what you said, changing the file type and resizing, there are much better programs out there for sure.

Now lets see these pictures that you speak of!!!!
