anyone else here hooked on "24?"

i've held off watching this show at all cuz everyone i know was hooked on it for the past few years.
well, last week i bought season one on ebay & started watching two nights ago.
first night, we watched the first 5 EPISODES back to back, then last night we watched an additional 4. what a cool show. tonight i plan on watching another 5-6 episodes.

hook, line, sinker...

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

I just started watching it regularly this season. It's a great show, and pretty
relevant to the times. I had seen a 24 marathon of old shows this past summer, and knew I'd want to see the new ones.

Yeah I watch that show every monday. I've gotta make sure there is nothing else to do, cause I'm gonna end up watching 24 no matter what.

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

Tivo every Monday night. My Wife doesn't get it, I always pause it if she wants to talk about something. 24 is one of those shows that you can't miss anything or you will be lost. Probably one of the best shows on regular TV.

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

I wanted to watch this show back when it came out, watched the first few episodes and that was it .... wish I kept watching, looks like it turned out to be quite the series.

I however watched Nip Tuck like you watched 24, watch seasons 1,2 and 3 within a 2 week period while watching season 4! GREAT show!

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

Yeah baby, 24 fo shizzle! We watch it, and Tivo it faithfully every Monday. We also Tivo season 3 every Sunday morning at 12:30 am. I usually watch that one live since I'm up late anyway. We really got into it last season so we're catching up on the re-runs as well as staying current.

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

sweet. i knew there'd be others out there! i think since we're still noobs to 24, i wanna buy at least the 1st 3 seasons cuz it's so nice to just watch the next episode instead of staying in suspense. got season 1 for $23 online! still in the original plastic wrap.

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

I have watched every episode since season 1. Love the show, hate the stupidity of the people working in the CTU. Have you ever seen a bigger bunch of backstabbing crybabies? I mean come on, the nation is under attack and one of the supervisors is trying to get one of the computer techs fired because he slept with another supervisor.

And when could you drive across LA in 15 minutes and have a cell phone that works everywhere including in a building that has shielding against it?

Don't get me wrong, I love the show. I just wish that some of the backstory in the CTU was dropped in favor of more action. I mean, who cares how many times someone needs to change out a post or socket so that they can do some silly satellite snooping?

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

Great show! Jack is the MAN! If only a quarter of us were as dedicated and patriotic as him, the world could be a better place. I haven't missed an episode since it started. Buying every season on DVD would be well worth the money since every new season will dig up a past situation or character.

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

i agree guys, this show is awesome. one thing that cracks me up tho is that sometimes they aren't so good about getting the cameramen or the set guys out of the picture. it's funny cuz there will be a tense situation, then all of a sudden you'll see some guys elbow, leg, etc.
great show overall tho.

Re: anyone else here hooked on "24?"

Started watching last season, love how it is in HD now, I DVR it every Monday and start watching around 9:15 so I can fast forward through the commercials. The Power of Bauer! The guys on my local morning radio show always talk about it, every hour they play the intro "The following takes place between 6 AM and 7 AM"
