Angry Truckaddons.com Returns Sucks!

i mistakenly bought a center hump liner from them and I'm trying to return it. you have to email them for an "RGA" number before you can send it back to them. They also have an 800 number to call. I've done both, emailed twice and called 5 times. still haven't got an RGA #. when i call, they always say I've got the wrong dept. that it isn't the returns dept, even though i selected the returns dept from the phone menu. when i ask to be connected to returns or given a # for the returns dept, they give me all kinds of attitude and say they're in a different state. so what? just gimme the right number!!!! and they never emailed me an RGA. they condescendingly say "it says right there on the web site it takes up to 24 hours sir..." my response, "the first one I sent was LAST THURSDAY." f'kn morons... what the hell is wrong with these people?? I'm gonna hammer em again right now in fact. they're taking this thing back, whether they like it or not. I'll never do business with them again.

It's horror stories like this that make me buy from local shops/dealerships or through reputable companies like 4WheelParts and NTW. I buy Jeep stuff through 4WD Hardware and Quadratec only.

Same goes for hunting stuff, Cabelas only for me if ordering online.

Good luck I got the run around from them. It took them two months to get my order taken care of, I will never do business with them.

i called em again this afternoon and left a message on some chicks voicemail. abby i think her name was. it said "you've reached abby in returns..." so hopefully i'll get somewhere with her. if not i'll call again. and again...

I posted this in a different thread but what I heck I'm so pi$$ed right now I'm putting my experience in this thread too. Hope some people see this and avoid this company completely....

I just had my first (and last) experience with TruckAddons.com. I phoned an order in asking them to pricematch autoanything.com (first big mistake) on a Access Vanish tonneau cover. If not for requesting a pricematch I would have ordered the cover through their website. I was not aware but the companies 'policy' is to beat any competitors advertised price by 5% which they did NOT do for my order, but rather only beat the competitor price by $2. The worst part is still to come....I ordered the tonneau on 12/10 and received it on 12/18 only to find they had shipped me a tonneau for a King Kab instead of a Crew Cab. I called returns and spoke with Michelle and Bobby both which told me I received exactly what I asked for. They indicated I said I had a 'double cab' according to what the salesman noted in my order over the phone. My response was that there is not such thing as a double cab, there are King Cabs and Crew Cabs so I am confident that is not what I said nor what I ordered. I was then told "According to the notes the salesperson added during the phone call when I ordered this is what I said and I received exactly what I ordered"....."We always believe what our salesperson says". Of course they are letting me return the item but I have to pay shipping to the tune of about $50!

WORD OF CAUTION: AVOID TruckAddons.com. They obviously only look at their bottom line and will not accept responsibility for their own errors. This time it was at my cost...but it will be the LAST time. I'd as soon flush my money down the toilet than give these a$$clowns anymore of my business.

Just filed a BBB claim on them today, parent company Trail Blazers aka truckaddons.com located in Lexington, KY. Ironically they aren't a BBB member, but here is what the BBB has to say about them:
