Re: Injen cold air intake

I have the Injen with the Magnaflow cat back. I added the Injen after the cat back and was running the stock air box with a K&N drop in and the snorkel cut.
I can tell you the Injen sounds awesome and has added to the performance of the truck but I do not believe it has lived up to the numbers they claim. I do like the intake because of the looks under the hood and the throaty sound it makes. It has added performance, but I am sure some of the other less costly cai's are just as good from a performance side of things.

Re: Injen cold air intake

Do I beleive.....well let's see.....my truck ran a 14.73 in the 1/4 mile with that and exhaust. Now with headers.....I've got a 14.4 N/A Titan with no ECU tunning!!!

I threw down 296/366 before headers. I think you need to have the right set up all around. And it took two Titans...different mods....and lots of reading...and....I think I found it!!!!

Re: Injen cold air intake

No that manufacture number is way to high. I think FlimFlamMan has a dyno floating around somewhere here with realistic numbers.

Re: Injen cold air intake

The manufacturer is not claiming a Peak gain.....they are claiming a gain at a certain RPM! And that my friend...is possible.
