poor titan!!! for those with weak stomachs dont look!!!! good bye titan!!

i woke up to a phone call from my wife saying she crashed... i rushed to the scene and saw my truck all messed up.... what happened was she got on the freeway and some lil red car sideswipped her and she lost control hitting the guardrail and then she went spinning across the freeway to the other side, and both of my lil girls were with her... my 3 year old and my 3 month old, both are fine just bumps and bruises, im hoping the insurance covers it, being that my wife is excluded... do guys think they will claim it a total loss??if not what do u think would be the total $$ to fix it???

Wow! That is a mess! Glad all are ok. That would be much worse than the 10G or so that this will cost to fix. I doubt it will be totalled, unless there's significant frame damage. But I figure you're in the 5-digit territory with this repair. Good luck and very sorry to hear it.

Well,
That's one way to make a Titan look like a Tundra.
Glad nobody was hurt.

Dude dude dude...I'm so sorry, but I'm glad your family is OK.

Unfortunately, you are going to be SOL and get zero from your insurance company. You only chance will be to get money from the other person's insurance. Same thing happened to my best friend..He had just bought a brand new Ford Explorer back in 2004. Me, him, and his family took it to Florida to go to Disney World. My friends brother started driving around 10pm, and about 10:05pm, a drunk driver came up and tailgated us, then swerved around us and sideswiped us causing us to roll over 4 or 5 times on the freeway..The drunk driver kept going and we were all taken to the hospital. Anyways, my friend's brother was excluded from the policy for some prior things...The insurance company denied the claim and paid out nothing. Chris has been trying to fight it for the last 2 years, but has gotten no where...He finally gave up. He had the explorer for about 2 weeks before it was totalled...He is still paying the payments today. Sucks for him because it was the drunk driver's fault, but the driver of the explorer at the time was specifically excluded from the policy. Best of luck.

Sorry to hear about that!!
I'm glad every one is ok!
If there was an accident report stating the other at fault then the other ins. should pay! I hope so for your sake!

Good luck!

Re: poor titan!!! for those with weak stomachs dont look!!!! good bye titan!!

yea we are gonna try to claim it on the guy that hit hers policy... he sideswipped her and hes trying to say that SHE HIT HIM while she was spinning around on the freeway, and the car only has minor damae to the passenger side and on the titan there is a scratch on the front drivers side rim with the paint of the other car.... there is no paint elsewhere on the truck but on the rim, and hes trying to blame it on my chick.... u think we have a chance at claiming it on his insurance??

Without a witness, it will be her word against the other. That will not help your case.

Fight that driver to the bitter end! He also has to prove he wasn't at fault either! But on the bright side, I'm glad all of your family was ok!

Wow - Man, I'm glad everyone is OK. I have 2 little girls also and wouldn't know what to think if I got that call. Good to see how well the cab of the truck held up, though!

oh and another crazy thing is that the tonneau cover flew off of the truck and it landed like 200 ft away from the truck
