i think the answer is a resounding YES, but i'm lookin' for your opinions. she prolly won't let me get new wheels, but i can talk her into powdercoating the existing ones black....
Re: Should i powdercoat the wifey's wheels black??
I would stay stock. With that style, they just don't look right. If it had a spoke less wide and a lip on the rim that was chrome or polished, then yes. But looking at the pics, it just looks like a rim that is covered in brake dust and needs to be cleaned badly. Just my $.02
Re: Should i powdercoat the wifey's wheels black??
ideally, i would get a black wheel, 1-2 inches larger, with a chrome or polished lip. BUT, we just bought new tires, and the wife isn't liking the black wheel idea all that much now....
Re: Should i powdercoat the wifey's wheels black??
i love mine black. mine are extremely polished and could never be concieved as brake dust. i had a guy in an new frontier follow me from the gym the other day just to ask me if i got them from nissan like that.

I was referring to the rims on his wife's car, not yours. To me, it doesn't look right w/ that style of rim.

well, that's the problem we're running into. she wants a sunroof waaaaay more than new wheels. so i might have to start a thread about the best aftermarket sunroof options....

I'm telling ya,
With that kid on the way, you are going to need a minvivan (there's that dreaded word again) or how about this. An Armada. Then you don't have to worry about those wheels anymore.
