Re: Should i powdercoat the wifey's wheels black??

I would stay stock. With that style, they just don't look right. If it had a spoke less wide and a lip on the rim that was chrome or polished, then yes. But looking at the pics, it just looks like a rim that is covered in brake dust and needs to be cleaned badly. Just my $.02

Re: Should i powdercoat the wifey's wheels black??

ideally, i would get a black wheel, 1-2 inches larger, with a chrome or polished lip. BUT, we just bought new tires, and the wife isn't liking the black wheel idea all that much now....

I was referring to the rims on his wife's car, not yours. To me, it doesn't look right w/ that style of rim.

Re: Should i powdercoat the wifey's wheels black??

Those wheels look better in silver IMO. You might be able to find a black w/ polished lip 15" or 16" wheel fairly cheap.

I'm telling ya,
With that kid on the way, you are going to need a minvivan (there's that dreaded word again) or how about this. An Armada. Then you don't have to worry about those wheels anymore.
