Agreed. We need to get rid of all the immigrants starting with the ones who came over on the Mayflower. Danged furners! Next thing you know, we'll be giving them free food, clothing, shelter. What will they want next?

Re: At first I thought this was funny...

Here's the thought that really scares me. What happens to this country when all of the "amnestized" immigrants go into retirement and old age?

Re: At first I thought this was funny...

this immigrant thing is getting so annoying! if they gave out border hunting licenses I 'd be all over it! drive my Titan up and down the border with a machine gun and stop em before they cross as if they were terrorist and I'm just defending my country!

As for the taxes, it's a sign of our march into socialism. Think of it, we'll be like our attic dwelling neighbor to the North! Healthcare will go first. It's already almost there. The rest will follow.

Oh, snap. Here comes the Canada bashing crew. Trust me it hurts, but I just justify paying 50% income tax by telling myself all those on the government tit just came on a hard time and it will get better.....

Re: At first I thought this was funny...

There is the way it is, and the way it was suppose to be.

The way it is, is that the Federal Goverment controls the purse strings, they keep the states in line by the threat of withholding money.

The way it was suppose to be was, that the states controled the purse strings, and collectively controlled the Federal goverment by giving them only the money it took to run the nessary federal services.

The people allowed it to happen and the people can stop it. The problem is that the government has the people in their control also. A large percentage of the population is on the dole. They rely on the government for their existance. They vote to keep it that way. If someone trys to change it, they offer more money giveaways and they are voted back in.

Our Constitution was orriginally written that you had to own property to vote. The reason was to keep the have nots from voting to take the money from the haves. If you did not do this, then the half that does not work would vote to take money from those that do. Our forefathers were pretty smart.

We are now experiencing exactly what they feared. The battle is to keep the lazy and outright crooks from taking the money we work hard for.

It is called socialism. There is a group of congressmen in the democratic party who claim to be socialists. They are proud of this. They are elected in office by guess who, the have nots or the lazy.

As long as we have a crooked congress , this will never end, rather it will get worse. I say we open the gates from Mexico and as soon as we get them all over here, we run into Mexico and call it America. We start all over again with all the oil we need and a good swimming hole. What a country.
