Never argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

ironically enough i'm sitting in the same seat as i was the day this all happened. howard stern was on, and it went from comedy to a serious tone in a matter of minutes. i went upstairs to the 3rd floor where we had a tv with a set of rabbit ears which one of the guys had already turned on. I got to the the tv just in time to see the second plane hit. i couldn't believe something like this was happening in our country..
despite the attempt to cripple and seperate americans, i beleive this attack did quite the opposite.
went to the reading of the names today it was very very sad seeing all the children of the moms and dads that wont ever be coming home again. I for one will never forget. Helped to remove the debris after this happened too still have bad memories from it every inch of it had to be gone over with a fine tooth comb because you didnt know if someones loved one was in there. Finding a watch knowing that it belonged to a loved one a wallet a set of keys it was very heartbreaking.
It has reinforced my love for my country. I always wanted to fly a flag on my home. It was a common site in the 60's to have a pole in your yard, or on the house. I finally installed one on my porch, it flys all the time, under the porch light, for all to see. It will not run, never has, never will. 9/11 was an incredible tragedy, I'll never know the horror of those innocent people that were killed. May God Bless our country, even though we don't deserve it.

Ill never forget! i was shipped to Afghanistan shortly after. Most people are clueless as to what its like over there. America isnt perfect, but we are blessed. I challenge everyone to take sense of pride this week, pass word on to your family, or young children. Encourage them to take pride in this country, and the prices that were paid for our freedom, and how precious it is. Regardless of beliefs or what not, this is a week of remembrance. And whether you think its right or wrong, there are a lot of outstanding individuals still over there volunteering their lives and time to defend what we have over here. My sig. says it all. Just my thoughts.
