Rally river Collin Mcrae killed in copter crash

Just read a blurb about on Autoblog. Damn, first Richard Burns and now McRae. The motorsports world has lost another great one.

Man that puts a knot in my throat. We just watched him and Travis Pastrana at the X Games rally racing . That is just terrible you think you have accomplished what you wanted to and it's all gravy then something happens like this.

Crash happen near Lanarkshire about 200 yards from his house. Four people on board 2 adults 2 kids.

I am very saddened by this news. One of my favorite drivers in motorsports.

When I was stationed in Germany a few years ago I really got into the WRC, loved watching him, Burns, Solberg, etc. Just amazing drivers.

RIP Collin and the three others involved.

The others included a 6 yr old friend of Collins son and a 37 yr old friend of Collin. Sucks dude. My son always rooted for him unless he was racing Pastrana.
