i was driving to the grocery store about 8pm tonight, and was behind an older civic at a red light, minding my own business. i look up, and there's a 3 year old giving me The Bird!
needless to say, i was at a loss of words. i mean, how does a 3 year old know that gesture? not to mention that the parents were in the front seat, laughing about it.
then, i got a big pissed off..i mean, what kind of parent encourages a freakin 3 YEAR OLD to give someone else the bird???
EDIT: i say it's a 3 year old b/c her facial features are just like my goddaughter, who is also 3...but the kid is definetly not older than 5...not that that makes any difference

The same thing happens to me all the time when I'm driving the semi-truck. Lousy parents today encourage this sort of thing. But what can you do?
Same thing happen to my friend and I when we we're about 12. This little guy flipped us one, and had a big grin on his face. My friend said "you don't even know what that means", and he, "Scotty" said F' you. He was from a pretty well off family and we laughed but weren't a bit shocked, and I said "kids today". This was in 1971. Lol
does anyone know where the hell the starter is on an 05 titan????
What? Oh, I see, he only has two posts so far.

The problem with kids these days is not the kids. It's the parents. It's bad enough when they let their kids do things like this. Worse is that a child that young had to be taught to flip the bird. Worst of all is that they laughed about it.

exactly my point; why would you feel the need to teach a young kid of a gesture like that, and then why the hell would you laugh about it? these are the same parents that are gonna cry "why did my kid do this to me" when they grow up and get into trouble...
i already know which one of my friends is going to teach my son all the things i'm not allowed too
i remember my friend and i were about 7 when he showed me "the finger" and told me what it was about... about 2 minutes later he tested it on a lifted ford bronco.. the guy slammed on his brakes, looked at us for a minute, my friend was ducking behind me and my bike... my grandmother then came outside thinking one of us got hit and asked waht happened... ted looked at me and i looked at him and said "squirrel"
If we think it is acceptable to do ourself, and funny to see; whether in real life or in our movies and other entertainment, there is no logical reason to not expect children to imitate their leaders (parents). We set the standards, high or low. And low is where we usually end up. Just look around.
Have real convictions, and live them always. Then you can change the world. One person at a time. Where do we stand?

If I caught my son doing that I would whip his ***. I would like to think that I have a well behaved kid. I do say things that I shouldn't say sometimes and I need to get better at that. What is this world coming to?
