Making a difference!
Just wanted to share some good news with my Titantalk family. Today I was presented with the 2007 "Making a difference in the life of a child" award by the Binghamton City School District. I am very surprised that I was chosen for this honor - as I have only been with the district since the start of the school year and I am sure that there are many others that are more deserving.

I would rather have YOU molding the hearts and minds of our youth as opposed to SOME others on this Forum!  You know the kind-they post a lot, they burn out in parks endangering kids, they associate with people who burn out in parks and endanger kids, you know who I mean-premium users!

Congrats, I think it's awesome that some people actually care about helping and educating children! Great accomplishment and I respect the fact that despite all the crap talking that goes on at this "friendly forum", some aren't afraid of what everyone else has to say!

There are many of us who spend their time and money helping others, we just don't feel the need to crow about it. IMO, the best thanks that one can recieve is a smile or a thank you from somebody less fortunate.
