WooHoo! Just got back from the Vol-Vandy game.

Tennessee comes back from being behind 24-9 at the beginning of the third quarter to win 25-24. Un-freakin-believable! I'm horse and everyone was high-fiving and back slappin' complete strangers, great watching a game with 107,000 of my closest friends.

Went to 3 games this year, 3-0 baby!

Bama loses to La-Monroe at home 21-14 . . .

What a weird year in college football.

LSU won, but their play was not impressive enough to give me the warm & fuzzy about the SEC championship game. The Dawgs look strong - stronger than the Vols. I wonder which is going to face us?

The Sooners & Ducks are out of it. Too bad.

First, Tennessee came from 15 points down in the fourth quarter to beat Vanderbilt and remain in control of its own destiny in the SEC's Eastern Division. That's good for LSU, if you didn't know, because as long as the Vols are on their way to the SEC Championship Game, that means Georgia is not. And it's probably better for the Tigers to stay away from the red-hot Bulldogs, or at least that's what I gathered from the reaction of LSU athletic director Skip Bertman, who was noticeably excited here in the press box when he heard the Vols had stormed back and won.

Ever hear of the saying: "Be careful of what you wish for"?

No matter who LSU will be playing for the championship, they will be favored and rightfully so. But in this year in the SEC anything can (and has) happen.

This doesn't just pertain to the SEC. All of the conferences have had crazy stuff happen. I can't remember a season when so many unranked or low ranked teams beat a major contender.
