Hey guys, it's been almost a year since I sold my Titan. Now I'm looking to get one come summer! But before then I need to come up with some down payment cash. My question is, what do you guys do to make a little extra cash? Side jobs? Investments? Online stuff? It's time to make some money!!

Too many mods to list PM me I'll tell ya.
depends on what you can do. I do odd jobs for the wifes pharmacy owners at their business and homes and that leads to more referals. a/c work, electrical, plumbing, and other things. Last time I put two ballasts in and delivered some wire, lights, and other things, and made 165.00 in 45 minutes. Dad has his own business doing things like that and I work for him and just keep what I make. Get 50 for the first hour and 45 an hour after that for little jobs, plus the mark up from the parts. Put in an a/c a couple of weeks ago and cleared 1800.00 for about two hours of work. There isn't that many people around here to do that kind of work but we are cheaper than all of them, other guy that bid on the a/c job was close to 1000 more.
I make a good bit of cash on the side fixing computers. Only bad thing is I'm a Network Admin for a Communications Company and I generally don't feel like touching a computer after work.
I have my feet in some network marketing stuff and, marketing stuff that people actually use or need (that will work for anyone either in product or sales) especially when it's not in a saturated market like arbonne, avon and quixtar. It's similar to insurance...but not really. Anyways, it brings in a couple extra thousand dollars a month that equals my working gross pay. It beats having a part time job and doesnt get in the way of my daily activities. At least this way...I can have my cake and, more. I just keep my job for the benefits, actually..my day job would be my side money now.
I make it work for me. The only reason I think a lot of people fail at MLM is because they dont follow through or they get too intimidated with themselves that it gets in the way of personal development and self motivaton. In other words, lack of confidence...or having any kind of confidence but in denial of your own doing. I fully understand that there are areas in MLM that arent for everyone. In any kind of Network Marketing field, it becomes habitual and you start to do things almost second nature. like how you wake up, brush your teeth, and drive to work, to pay the bills, to wake up and do it all over again.
So if anyone approaches you about oppurtunity or a product...dont judge the person, judge the product and the system behind it. Like I wrote, it may or may not be for you.
i also have some network marketing going right now... havnt made a dime yet but its only been a month .. thye say it could a few months before you see any kind of return..
hey kili what company/ companies are you with....
alos .. does anyone know if were alowed to PLUG our online stuff.. like websites ..if so i would like to put mine on this thread....

Quixtar is a great marketing company but it wll only work for you if you get off your butt and make contacts. I'm in it but haven't gotten off my butt yet, lol.

I don't think network marketing stuff would work for me considering I'm that introverted person you speak of.
The network marketing stuff can work, but it's directly proportional to the amount of time/energy you put into it. And yeah, you can't be introverted to make them work. Investments aren't the answer unless you really, really know what you're doing. Otherwise you'll more likely lose your shirt. Second job? Not the prettiest solution, but a solid one.

Not only that, but the belief you have in the products and services you provide.
Yah..a second source of income by means of working for someone seemed like a good idea at the time. I was doing landscape designs for homes around my neighborhood. Stuff I already do at my job, just on a smaller scale and direct income to me. The bad thing was that, whenever people would set their own budget...they start cutting back because...well, people spend money...and when they start running dry...they tap into other sources. So the affects me because I have to water down the design in relation to their budget. And there's the fact that not everyone needs a landscape design to do their own yard. So, one of my clients approached me and asked me if I kept my income opportunities open. I said sure....and he exposed me to some pretty awesome stuff. Stuff I know, in my field of work, I could use, and for stuff in the unforeseen future. It's been about 3 months since I've done it. I've used the service about 3 times already...and got what I expected out of it. I don't even bother exposing this to my close family and friends because they prejudge me too much. I just got to whomever who has an open door and show them to find out what kind of person they are - a person who see's it...or a person who doesn't.
