Pretty crazy, talk about driveline stress! I can't believe neither broke in 4wd spinning all 4 on the pavement like that.

my buddy has a cummins dodge mega cab, that thing is powerful... 7500lb truck running 12.88 1/4 miles...

I just think that is funny how people think that just because one vehicle is more powerfull than the other that it will out pull it. I have a tug at work with a 4 cylinder ford that I will be happy to hook up to almost any truck and give it a go.

Quite true - I used to have a 6 cyl 1962 Ford rock quary dump truck - it was geared for dragging boulders - duel 10ply tires - those earth mover style type on the back. Top speed was a whopping 45 MPH in top gear at full throttle - but that old beast could flat out PULL. Torque and traction are EVERYTHING in a pulling contest.

Today's moron is often tomorows genius - and visa - versa is also often the case. LMFAO!!

That's all I could think while watching was "holy cow look at the wasted rubber".

And as we all know, rubber for 18's and 20's is so not cheap.

I was challenged to a tug-o-war last night with a 2500 4X4 KC Dodge w/cummins turbo diesel that was lifted with 37" rubber....

I graciously bowed out...

I watched to guys with dually's have a tug o war one night. Well one of the guys thought he would just hold his brakes until the other guy started spinning then pull him. Well, when the went at it the guy holding is brakes got drug with the tires locked up. The next attemp the guy held is brakes slightly and gave it some gas...got pulled again. Everyone was laughing because the guy that got pulled never realized that the strap was hooked to his drawtite and the other guy had the strap hooked to his 5th wheel in the bed which gave him an advantage.

I went to a monster truck show back in 97 or 98 they had a tug of war and anyone could enter. at that point a new f350 was in it and killing all the truck including a hummer h1 a big old double dulie that had 4 tires on the front and 4 on the rear with 4 wheel drive. anyway the f350 killed all of them. After the tug of war was over and the f350 won a full size monster truck wanted to get in on the action. Well the dumb azz with the new f350 excepted the challenge. I remember thinking that the f350 was going to be torn to shi7. Well to mine and everyones surprise the f350 pulled that monster truck with all 4 wheels clear across a paved racetrack. it was cool. I dont like fords but man that thing was bad azz!
