Christmas came early-new toy for the Titan!

While many of you were wishing for cams, superchargers, lifts, or audio, I had been in need of a roof rack to haul supplies as I renovate our house.

So when OTIV came along in October, PLM7878 had a rack for sale.

But alas, fate was not to be. I proposed to my girlfriend and had started payments on an engagement ring. So I had negotiated a great deal but couldn't go through with it. However in talking with Maria, she did say that I could get it so I thought last night of the Meet, I'll go hunt him down and make an offer...

THEN the sneaky lowdown Konigfritz came along and bought it out from under me!

*E)@)$@! I had to admit, it did look good on his truck AND he did say I could borrow it whenever I wanted.

So EACH time I see him, he's quick to make a comment about the rack and I told him that I would be glad to buy it when I had the money.

Well, this past month, I was able to skip a payment on the ring and had the money so I made him an offer! He dropped off the rack today.

Now when Maria comes back, she'll be surprised and relieved that I'm not stomping around the house because I couldn't get a supercharger for the truck...or the rack. One down, one to go!

Maria's coming in on Wednesday night so I'm going to try to have it welded up so that I can use the cap as well as the ladder rack.

When we go back to Michigan to rebuild my Dad's deck, it will come in handy and when I add onto my current toolshed, it will make things a hole lot easier to manage.

I'll take pictures tonight of the rack-PLM7878's had it done right that's for sure...
