I havn't gotn any yet, but i know a bunch of people that have been b*tchn about getting them.. That shiznit pisses me off so bad.... I believe its just gonna get worse tho...

this past summer, I read somewhere about this spam crap for cell phones was going to start in Dec due to cell #'s being released to advertisers and marketing phucksticks... however you can put your cell #'s on the "do not call registry" as well... I did this during the past summer in preparation for the "public record" crap that is making everyone a greater risk of being a victim of ID theft...

I got two spam texts on Monday morning. The first one was about 4:15 and the second was at about 5. The wifey was not too happy since she took the day off and then was woken up by spam text messages.

Isn't there a way to block numbers that don't show on your caller Id?

no but you can block private calls... I dont know if it works but verizon told me if i get private numbers (prank calls) on my home phone, I can dial *67 and it will tell me the last private number to call the phone....

Also that "do not call me list" my moms friend sent her an email with that in it and she took all of our phone and signed up for it... well I thought it was a spam email and a spam number basicly tricking you to give your number.. but I dont know... I have been getting a lot of crap latley

I've been on the "do not call" list for a looong time now. I guess there is no do not spam text message list eh???? One main reason i went from land line to mobile was because of solicitors and bogus calls. Arrrrghhhh!!!!!

I am with sprint and those F-ing jokers send there own damn spam. I get texts all time announcing there new ****ty features and there great dumbass plans. I do not text so I do not have a plan for it and get charged 15 cents a piece for them to bother me.

I was getting the occasional spam text on my Nextel phone, but I haven't received any in a while. However, that could be cause work turned off the text messaging on my phone to save money since I don't use it anyway.

I didn't receive spam on my Cingular/AT&T phone, but I turned text off because I didn't use it and I got tired of people sending me stupid texts. For me, if you want to bother me, call me; otherwise, leave me alone.
