here are my 2 cents on the issue. i think for each illegal found working in a business, the owner should be fined $100,000 and serve at least one year in jail. i believe this would stop the employment of illegals. the consequences of hiring illegals has to be more than a slap on the wrist. also, government needs to stop the handouts to them. with no job and no freebies, what are they going to do...go back home i would imagine. and another thing, i didnt fund their trip into the country, so i sure dont need to fund their trip back--like i have heard suggested before...........like i said only my opinions

I think it is Arizona, that just passed a law if a business is caught with an illegal working after jan 1,2008 they lose their business license for 10 days on the first offense. If they are caught a second time they lose it permenantly. They are already saying that atleast 100 illegals are leaving everyday, and the law is even being enforced yet.
