Re: Vending business

My wife roped me into the Vending business. We have been in it about a year now - doing pretty well... Machines will probably pay themselves off at a rate of about 1 machine every 2 years.

She went through Antares Corp to get started. Machines have drinks and snacks. All mechanical - so little maintenance is required.
We only set up in small business - employee lounges - so vandalism is not an issue.
Should be a good job for our boys when they are old enough to drive.

Re: Vending business

In Japan, they vend some weird things. I watched a drift video that had some footage of the nightlife in Tokyo. There was a guy that was so smashed he bought a pair of used woman's underwear out of a vending machine (apparently they have lots of vending machines with them there). He then put the dirty underwear on his head like a hat, started making up a song he called "panty man", and burnt a hole through the butt of them with his cigarette (while still on his head, cigarette in his mouth). Not sure if there is a market here for that LOL and I don't think you could get away with that here either if you wanted to. I wouldn't want to be the guy to start that one here if there was. I'd say, try to vend something unique though. Kids buy the little toys a lot, try to find something they can play with like those little rubber band guns, Those were my favorite.
