It does look like the Tundra, I have to agree. They almost look like siblings. As for its aesthetic appeal, I like it well enough. The back end looks to be much more attractive than the Tundra's. I hate those tail lights with a passion. All in all, I think it looks better than the previous generation.
The new Ford, however....thumbs down on that one. The current model is fairly handsome, even if a bit slow.
As much as I hate to say it, I really was not that impressed with the look of the Titan when I bought it, but now I have to say it is going to be the best looking one on the road. Why the hell do all the car companies lately have to pick the ugliest thing on the road and copy that design?
I hate the whole new "melted rounded" look. These new trucks (Tundra, Ram) took the a** end of the old Infiniti J30 and applied it to the front of the truck thinking it would look good. The look definately makes the truck look smaller from a distance, that pic of the Ram makes it look like a next-gen Dakota.
One of the guys I work with just bought a new Tundra and parked next to me yesterday. On the road, the Tundra look smaller, but when he was parked next to me, they are about the same size.
What makes it look weird is his Tundra's roof is the same height as my Titan, but the top of the hood and the sides of the bed are almost a foot higher on the Tundra.
It is very Tundra-ish in my opinion. "Charger inspired grill"??? Who wants a truck that looks like a car??? LOL. It's amazing how they all copy each other. I will admit as well, that I originally didn't like the split chrome bumpers on our trucks, but then I realized that it was completely different from everyone else (at the time). Now it seems almost commonplace. Personally, I think our trucks were, and still are, ahead of the design curve.
I think it looks fugly. I agree with all of the Tundra-ish comments. I've had too many friends buy Dodges that have taken a crap on them in the first few months to ever buy a Dodge.
Yup, looks like a Tundra. Way to distinguish yourself and be unique. *yawn* that's boring and depressing. Now one of the big three has gone and emulated a "Jap" truck.

2005 Titan LE Crew Cab 4x4 ***Gone, but not forgotten. Take your trailer hitch off when not towing, or else an impact could buckle your frame and warp your bed, causing the insurance company to total your truck ***
MY friends dad has a new 08 crewmax, or whichever the one is called with the huge cab. His work gave it to him to drive for 3yrs before he gets another truck, its a decently nice truck and the room behind the back seat is extremly large, anyways it dont want a peice of this uprev tuned titan I have in the driveway lol
