Re: new knight rider

at least they still used the charger in the dukes remake (i think if they changed the general there would have been riots in the streets) i agree this new KITT mustang is ridiculous.

anyone remember the tv movie knight 2000? at the beginning KITT was a 57 chevy, then they transplanted him into the pontiac banschee concept.

How about when they remade smokey and the bandit for tv and the guy drove a black dodge stealth? anyone remember that.

All of those were part of the "Power Block" put out by Paramount in the early 90s, as I recall. Bandit traded in his TA and CB for a Stealth and a Cellphone. Sucked hard. The others were the Knight Rider spin-off where the lead character was fighting off an evil industrialist with a penchant for black market organs, and the soul of his dead girlfriend lived in a "crystal computer". I seem to recall another show about two Chinese immigrants, one a concert violinist and the other a gangster, and one called "Pointman" about an ex-con/CEO. Then again, my memory of the early 90s is shakey at best. I do recall both Team Knight Rider, which was a small step removed from Power Rangers, and the Knight 2000 movie on NBC.

The early 90s was chock full of schlock. Anyone remember "Superforce", the crime-fighting psychic astronaut/cop, or the new "Kung Fu"? Good times.

Anyways, no black Trans Am, no real interest for me.

My friends and I were discussing who would be the next "BA" in an A-Team remake. We figured he'd probably come from pro wrestling. Maybe it will be a "re-imagining" starring Samuel L. Jackson as BA, Hugh Laurie as Hannibal, Owen Wilson as Face, and Chris Tucker as Murdock. And they'll all drive around in a hybrid Honda Odyssey.

Re: new knight rider

Never fear! KITT still has the sweeping red light! This article explains it pretty well. The jury is out for me until I see the show. I like the Mustang but the "attack KITT" with the ricer wing and all the extra garb is retarded to me.

Naah they would put someone like Steve Erkle as BA

Also if they plan on using a Mustang maybe it should be Pink instead of black since that shows Fords true colors

Re: new knight rider

Maybe the new Kitt also has "Super Pursuit Mode", and it needs those two spoilers to generate the down force needed to reach 300 MPH. I'm hoping that the new Kitt also comes with a street-wise mechanic who will give it a hard top convertible mode as well.

In my youth, I recall Bonnie as being smoking hot. She's not bad looking, but certainly not as hot as I remember her.

I want one of those Kitt flashing light bars for my Titan.

Make it more true to life where Mike is wasting away in Las Vegas when Sarah reappears and finds Mike laying on the floor eating pizza.

The base price of a Mustang is pretty cheap in comparison, and with "Mike" behind the wheel, he's bound to crash a few bar hopping.
