Strange Argument

Me and a few of my friends got into a strange argument yesterday. They claim that Chuck Norris would hands down beat any UFC fighter out there. I said that I know Chuck Norris is a good mixed martial artist but no wear near the level that ACTUAL fighters are. I know he beat Bruce Lee ONCE in a sparing match, and does have wins in MMA competitions, I just believe he is no wear near the competition nowadays...... Just wanted to see what everyone on here thought.

Re: Strange Argument

Considering he is well in to his 60's and closer to 70 I don't know if he would hang for very long but I could be wrong.
He is 6 time world Karate Champion and he retired at 34 when most of the UFC fighters are in there 20's and won't fight after 30.
I bet he would whoop some a$$ until one of them monster put him in some fancy ground fighting hold, if they could catch him. But then again he does have a Black Belt in Brazilian Jui jitsu.

Re: Strange Argument

Maybe if he wasn't so dang old, he might stand a chance in his younger days. That type of fighting isn't really his discipline is it???

Re: Strange Argument

Hate to say it but Chuck is past his prime. Maybe he could schedule a Senior citizen match with one of the Gracie's. If Bruce Lee was alive I wonder how he would of done in his prime?

Re: Strange Argument

If he hit anyone the way he hit me back in the 70's during a demonstration match I was hosting, I don't think they would be interested in standing there to take a second shot. He hit me so hard and fast I was propelled over 8 feet backwards and I never saw him make the first move. One minute I was squaring off against him and the next I was on my back 8 feet behind where I started from. And that was only a demonstration of his speed and power.

Re: Strange Argument

Probably could have done well in his prime. But come on, the guy turns 68 this year. There is no way he can hang with the guys in UFC.
